April Showers Bring Snow?

While the rest of you might be looking for May flowers, we were a little surprised yesterday to discover that April showers bring snow.

Why did the rain turn white?
Why did the rain turn white?

After torrential rains on Friday, cooler weather came with the backside of the front and changed to rain over to snow. Temperatures hovered just above freezing so the snow never really threatened to accumulate, but it snowed all day long.

So April showers bring snow?
So April showers bring snow?

Since Hu-Dad just mowed our grass inside the fence a couple of days ago, we thought it was funny that Mother Nature seems determined not to let spring keep her grip.

Our weather is just weird.

Rain, rain go away. So much rain and dismal weather does not make for happy Sibes, in the north or the south. It will get better.
