The privacy of our visitors is critically important to us. This privacy policy outlines what information we collect and how that information is used.

Computer Log Files

This website is hosted on a Virtual Private Server that we control. All web servers track basic information about their visitors. This information includes, but is not limited to, IP addresses, browser details, timestamps and pages visited. The information is tracked for routine administration, maintenance and security purposes. None of this information is used to personally identify specific visitors to this site.

If you are concerned about IP tracking, we highly recommend using a VPN service. We personally use NordVPN (not an affiliate link and we receive no benefit mentioning them - just happens to be what we use), but there are a number of high quality VPNs in operation. A server MUST know an IP address in order to send the web file, so mask it if you wish.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Like most websites, this website utilizes cookies. We purposely insert only a minimum of cookies and all are fully disclosed below. Most browsers will tell you specifically which cookies are used and we highly recommend checking on our site and on all sites.

Note that you can disable cookies in your web browser if you do not wish us to collect this information. If you disable cookies, you may find certain functions to be less than ideal (such as remembering your information for commenting on posts), but the site will continue to work. The best option is to disable or enable cookies on a per-site basis. Consult your browser documentation for instructions on how to block cookies and other tracking mechanisms.

Voluntary Information We Collect About You

We only become aware of specific information about you if you provide it. Specifically:

If you later decide to opt-out of the newsletter, your email address remains in our database at our third party service, but we will not send future mailings nor will we share or sell your email address to anyone.
