Still Sliding

A reader asked if Cheoah does her patented Cheesewhiz Snow Slide even though she is approaching her 13th birthday. Her answer? Still sliding.

Getting the ear in deep.
Getting the ear in deep.

We Siberian Huskies are big believers in maximizing our fun in snow, but Cheesewhiz takes it to a whole new level. Many, many years ago, she perfected her snow slide – pressing the side of her face into the snow and then propelling her body along the ground by kicking her back legs.

Get low so the whole body feels the cold.
Get low so the whole body feels the cold.

Since we were asked earlier in the week if she still does the slide despite a major birthday approaching in a week (number 13!), we decided to answer. But why say it when you can show it?

All I want for my birthday is more snow to slide in.
All I want for my birthday is more snow to slide in.

The Siberian Snow Slide is an art form into itself.

Snow makes a Husky feel young at heart and Cheoah proves it. Winter starts Friday so more snow should be on the way.

Cheoah-you show us that you can STILL do that wonderful snow slide even though a big birthday is coming up. Who says older isn’t better??
