Our resident Cheesewhiz was quite displeased with our dreary Monday weather, so prepare yourself for a redhead rainy rant.
Why this weather?
A cool rain on a summer day is refreshing.
A fresh winter snow is gorgeous.
And driving rain on a day when the temperature hovers just above freezing is…miserable.
Do something, Hu-Dad.
Sadly, that was exactly our weather yesterday. We had over an inch and a half of rain while temperatures hovered in the mid 30’s all day. Another inch or more of rain was expected overnight. Overall, we can only say…boring.
Wake me when the weather is better.
Movie Memory Monday (on Tuesday)
Yes, we know. It’s Tuesday. Once again, our Hu-Dad forgot to post our Movie Memory on Monday. We can’t even come up with an alliteration that works for Tuesday (go ahead – try). In the meantime, here is a flashback to our Miss Cheoah getting her hair done – Cheesewhiz Coiffure. Enjoy.

… We’re tired of all the rain tooβ and wishing we could send it to California so the fires would be stopped!
What about the “snow machines” on the mountains? Does the rain just wash it all away?
The rain melts some of their snow, of course, but they make it so fast that they have a good base and it will survive. They are planning to fire the guns back up as soon as weather conditions are good again. They should have good skiing in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
