After Sunday’s fiasco with Hu-Dad’s tardiness resulted in a late meal, we have a new rule for all of us – don’t be late for dinner ever again.
Hu-Dad was sitting on the back deck taking photographs of us playing inside Sibe Quentin. As often happens, he did not know what the topic of today’s post was going to be, but he was looking to us for motivation. Sometimes, we do something that makes the post really easy to write, and other days he has to watch for a while until the story comes to him.
Thinking he had the pictures he wanted, he said, “Guess I should go get your dinner ready.” We reacted very positively.
Even the pickiest of diners, the Little Prince himself, ran quickly to the deck. He probably did that because everyone else ran to the deck. He was still quite picky about eating dinner. but at least the Little Prince ran eagerly to the deck for dinner time.
In fairness, we should mention that Typhoon never actually walks anywhere. All movement requires warp speed to be engaged – all part of the game of the Little Prince entertaining himself.
