Cousin Check In

Hu-Dad crossed over the valley to Hu-Grandmom’s house last night for Saturday night dinner, so he brought back a cousin check in for us.

First up is “The Dude” himself, Tartok. As long-time readers know, Tartok has a long standing tradition of going to bed very early and not being much of a host past about 8 pm. Hu-Dad gave him great credit last night for actually staying out in the main room with the humans throughout Hu-Dad’s visit. Of course, staying in the room might have involved a nap – and a typical Siberian Husky napping pose.

Are you still here?

Are you still here?

Ruby was her usual gregarious host always happy to let someone scratch her ears (and Hu-Dad is quite the soft touch when it comes to succumbing to ear scratching demands). She is continuing to get eye drops, but no longer has the eye discomfort she was having a few weeks ago. Her next follow up visit with the ophthalmologist is this coming Thursday, but we are not anticipating any real change going forward.

Come on, human, my ears are higher.

Mom sez: Hmmm, Tartok in our Ayla’s favourite pose. She loved to turn herself into a corkscrew, too. Must be a “Husky Thing”!
