In a normal winter, we would look at this week’s forecast and talk about how pleasant it is. Our high today is supposed to be just below freezing with lows in the low teens – very normal for us. But we have to admit that the warm weather of the last several weeks have made us not quite prepared. A certain red headed dog was quite content hanging out on the couch in front of the fireplace.

No I am not cold. I just happen to be under the blanket.

The optimal time to snag the best location on the couch is when everyone else goes out to frolic in the cooler temps. Good thinking, Cheezewhiz!
