Fall days are great for so many reasons – cooler weather and fall colors being at the top of that list. No story today – just some pictures from around the house.

Our view from the dining room will change dramatically in the coming weeks. The leaves will fall and we will have a clear view of Ski Cataloochee (They typically open in late October or first part of November, depending on weather).

They are much brighter up here than they are in the Lower Mainland of BC, and more “temperate” parts of the country. You must be up fairly high in the mountains where you are, too.
Oh yes, and Ice is also starting to grow his winter woollies, and is looking like a huge fuzz ball right now!
We live at about 5,000 feet / 1500 meters.
