Our neighboring campers are always curious how we achieve such good behavior (usually) and quiet on the picket line. The humans’ answer is easy – cheat! Hey, it is rude to talk with your mouth full, so bully sticks are a great tool!
The Queen leads the way in concentration!
Kiska keeps her back to the others so she can enjoy her bully stick privately.
Typhoon doesn’t care who watches – he is in heaven!
Frankie is more restrained, but is quietly loving it.
Qannik just throws himself into chewing.

Cheoah is laying on her bully stick. Yep, she took the treat from the hu-dad, placed it on the ground, and is hiding it for later. Her plan is to wait on everyone else to finish and then to savor it in front of every other pup. And we all know canine logic – that means she got something that the rest of them don’t have. Have to love a Siberian Husky that plans how to torment her packmates! Though, the hu-dad would like to point out, this does not help with the goal of quiet on the picket line.

Before Ayla left us for the Rainbow Bridge, Ice used to do the same as Cheoah – “sit on it”. Now that he’s alone, he still does the same thing, only takes it out and buries it in the back yard, to be dug up and sneaked into the house a week or so later.
Our Queen Nala likes to wait to be the last one to eat a treat too! Gotta love a Siberian husky!
I never heard of bully sticks. Do you mind if I ask, who makes them? I need help keeping my girl busy and quiet when camping. Thanks!

Cheoah is devious! Love it.
I had a sister that used to do that! She’d hoard her Halloween or Easter candy, then once we’d all finished ours, she’d torment us by eating one piece at a time. She could drag it out for WEEKS!
Ha ha ha! We had one like that, too! I think part of the enjoyment for her was that she had something when no one else did.
And her I thought my sisfur Sunny was only one to do that!! Takes hers & then guards till I done then eats in front of me!
