And Now for Something Completely Different

With our apologies to Monty Python for the title of this blog:

Myrtle Beach Sunrise

Yes, that is sunrise over the beach.  Myrtle Beach SC.  The Herd was totally confused since we have snow on the ground at home, but we took off to the beach for a long weekend.  And here is the cool part.  The Herd has NEVER seen the ocean.  I would love to show you the very first meeting of the ocean, but we got here last night after dark.  However, here is our first walk at sunrise.  Notice how Qannik and Natasha have no fear of the ocean.  Not totally true last night, but today we added – Seagulls!  Amazing how the dogs forget anything else when there are birds to chase.

And here we are coming back North from our walk.  We are not running so much for the dogs (though they liked it), but because it is COLD.  A good strong ocean breeze and probably in the low 30’s.  You even get a glimpse of the red heads in this video:

Sorry for the camera cap in both videos. Did not realize I did not have it secure.

What great videos! Those sea gulls could have been a bit more hospitable and flown a tad closer.

We have never seen the ocean either and unless we move, it sure doesn’t look like we will. So we LOVED your videos. Mom said she wishes she could bottle the sound of the waves crashing – great for sleeping.

    WOO WOO

WE LOVED THE VIDEO. Mom loves the ocean and she told us a long time ago, she took our dear Samantha to the Outer Banks. Samantha loved the ocean but never went into it but she chased the seagulls too and dug and dug to China trying to catch a Crab! Let us know if you see those crabs on the beach!
Your Mom and Dad are quite talented, running with 3 fur-puppies a piece and videos too!!! We would love to go running with you!!!

    Hugs
