Leap Tall Rose Bushes
Many of our readers asked what Landon did that caused Frankie to a put paw down and demand better behavior. Hu-Dad went back to the string of photos and found this as the perfect explanation. The Boom Boom was racing through the roses, so the Frankster had to tell him to slow down. Amazing that Landon can go from leaping to full braking mode in just a few steps.

Cornering Skills
Our crazy, high-speed games require blazing fast straightaways coupled with wickedly tight cornering skills. Roscoe loves seeing how fast he can take the turns, but does admit to one, slight problem. Dewy grass first thing in the morning can be a challenge. A wipe out may dampen the fur, but it never dampens the spirit, so the chase quickly resumes.

Put a Paw Down
Frankie Suave earned his nickname by his calm, cool demeanor. Other than thunder and other loud noises, not much bothers him. When he became the eldest in The Herd, his leadership style matched that personality. As long as the youngsters left him out of the mess, he didn’t stop their fun. Sometimes, though, a dog just has to put a paw down and say stop. This photo caught one of those moments.

When the weather is pleasant, Hu-Dad sometimes leaves his office for the table in our outdoor pavilion, the same place the humans sometimes eat meals. Doing that creates some confusion. The Trouble Brothers love their games, mostly involving sneaking up on each other and pouncing. Typhoon oftens gets the upper paw in these battles since he is a master of deception. Poor Roscoe, though, forgets how skilled Typhoon is in defense. Here, Typhoon looks unimpressed at the fast approaching Roscoe.
