Artistic Herd
The idea was simple. A photograph of us walking along the greenway during our morning walk. Terrific idea but Hu-Dad forgot to adjust the shutter speed, so the exposure was a tad bit longer than it should have been. Garbage can, right? Nope. Hu-Dad decided the blur effect made for an artistic herd.

Innocent Of All Charges
For some odd reason, Hu-Dad found it challenging to accomplish his work as his desk was bouncing. He suggested that a pair of bestest-buddies-ever might be wrestling and causing the problem. Roscoe emerged from under the desk with the best innocent of all charges face ever. Unfortunately for him, Typhoon expressed no remorse and proudly claimed responsibility.

Skeptical Little Prince
In case you think His Royal Highness Little Prince Typhoon Phooey isn’t buying what Hu-Dad is selling, let’s explain. True, poor Typhoon’s digestive system reacts poorly to many tasty treats, so he doesn’t get everything his brothers get. And, true, they shouldn’t be deprived of things just because he can’t have them. But, Hu-Dad swears that has nothing to do with why the others are inside the house while Hu-Dad and Typhoon enjoy some private outdoor time. No, Hu-Dad just wants some quality time with the Little Curmudgeon, who might be something of a skeptical Little Prince.

Roscoe’s Foxy Friend
A big step forward yesterday on our backyard project—the sod was installed. For some odd reason, the Hu-Dad is keeping us leashed in the yard for a few weeks. Something about it needs to take root and not be torn up by zoomies, or tunnel construction, or other “Siberian mischief.” At least we got to hang out with Roscoe’s foxy friend and enjoy the spring evening.

It’s that time of year. Pollen is in the air and Hu-Dad was already choking, so he decided to tackle his tax return. He grumbles that we don’t qualify as dependents, uses vocabulary that we thought only Typhoon knew, and stacks piles of paper on all parts of his desk. Helpful Little Prince
We’ve had a gorgeous week of warm, sunny weather and spring is in the air. The greenway we walk twice a day is no longer as quiet as the winter, so Hu-Dad said we needed to keep in a tight formation and behave. The helpful Little Prince piped up and volunteered to boss everyone else around. Hu-Dad pointed out that none of the other dogs pay any attention to His Royal Highness’s demands, so that probably wasn’t going to do much. Don’t worry, the Little Prince’s visions of grandeur were not diminished.

Baffled Royalty
Hu-Dad issued the command to “all dogs” to kennel up. Everypup raced to their crates and curled up inside. Except, of course, for His Royal Highness Little Prince Typhoon Phooey. Hu-Dad looked him in the eyes and said, “That includes you, Little Curmudgeon.” The baffled royalty look you see in today’s photo was the response.

Conspiracy Whispers
Thick as thieves, the two bestest buddies were plotting and planning in Hu-Dad’s study last night. They won’t reveal what the conspiracy whispers were all about and disguised everything with a rousing wrestling match. Quite clever and distracting.

The Work Is Never Done
Poor Roscoe P. was the closest pup to Hu-Dad. Ok, technically, Typhoon was closer, but he was being grumbly and didn’t want to cooperate, so Roscoe was drafted. As a working breed, we know we have to be prepared for any task since the work is never done. So Roscoe would like you to know that he is smiling for the camera exactly as requested, though he might have been back asleep three seconds later.

Couch Claim Made
Certain spots in the house have long been deemed as the best places to hang out. One of those is the couch in the den, a spot right outside the Hu-Dad’s study. The smile on Boom Boom’s face says it all. He got there first and made the couch claim. Dibs!
