No matter how fuzzy and shaggy he might look, Typhoon is clear in his demands of humans—back away from the brush.
Despite his scruffy looks, the Little Prince emphasizes one of his most important rules—do not dare touch him with a brush. Violations will be met with an ear-piercing shriek—aka, the Siberian Death Scream. Here, Hu-Dad didn’t even have a brush with him—he just thought about it—and earned the Royal Glare as a reward.

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?
October 29, 2024
Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.
Typhoon, Hu-Dad and the rest of the herd are all lucky to have found each other. Happy July to everyone!
I know it’s been quite a challenge with his health. I think Roscoe’s been good for him and the only other ‘person’ who cant touch him.
I meant CAN touch him. Oopsie!
That is the “don’t come near me” look. Ruby agrees with you Ty, no brush nor hands to remove fur.
Oh boy Hu-Dad-NOW Typhoon Phooey can even read your mind. Did you ever find out WHY he is so afraid of the horrible brush?
Sadly, it’s not just the brush. In general, he’s very sensitive to touch which is probably connected to all his other health issues. He’s best around his head and ears. Hu-Dad spends gentle time with him every day doing ear rubs, etc., but sometimes even that is too much.
Poor kid. Our Little Curmudgeon actually has a pretty good reason to be grumpy much of the time. We help him as best we can with a medical regimen.
Oh my poor Ty ! He can be as grumpy as he wants! Thanks for taking such good care of him. Makes even happier that he has Roscoe ❤️
