Walking With Nicole

We took our twice a day walks during hurricane warnings before, so we weren’t going to avoid walking with Nicole either.

Twice a day means TWICE - walking with Nicole
Twice a day means TWICE

We walk twice a day for a total of six miles. We do that every day. Every single day. And, yes, when we lived in Murrells Inlet, we walked during hurricane warnings (though never, of course, in the midst of the storm). So, yes, we received a couple of inches of much needed rain yesterday, but that didn’t deter us from our daily rounds. Can you smell the wet dog from there?

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by Hurricane Nicole, especially the people who have lost their lives or their homes. As always, we’re grateful to our first responders who put their own lives at risk every day to keep us safe. Our post today is a light-hearted look at our own dealings with the rain from the storm, but we don’t want to be disrespectful to those truly harmed.
