According to Hu-Dad, we missed the fact a deer was in our yard during morning turnout, so we wrote a Dear deer note.
Dear Deer:
We thought something was in the yard during morning turnout yesterday, but we couldn’t find it. As soon as we went inside, you bolted and the security cameras caught your movement.
We wanted to let you know that hiding from us in plain sight by not moving is a violation of the canine-deer contract. Stop that.
Hu-Dad laughed so hard his sides hurt. You can’t hurt him. That’s our job.

Horrible Hurricane Helene: Why So Bad for WNC?

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.

I saw you blowing out one of ur crew on YouTube. I have a 6 yr old sib that has been called my growth. He’s literally glued to me at all times. Until, I pick up a brush. He used to see a groomer consistently but, I no longer can afford that. I’m hoping the blower would be easier n him be more at ease with it because honestly arthritis has come early to me and brushing is just painful. Would you mind telling me the brand of blower you use and is it affordable? Also, how often do you have to use it?

We use a Metro Air Force Commander which was recommended to us eons ago by someone who showed dogs (I believe at the Chattanooga specialty back in 2009). It’s fairly intuitive to use. Once you start, you will figure out the angles fairly quick to remove the most hair. And, of course, washing first helps loosen the hair.
P.S. – Typhoon is in horror we are discussing such things and believes that is unauthorized removal of Siberian fur and illegal touching.
