Boom Boom is acting out the “Three Little Pigs” as he refuses to allow anyone to remove the “hair on my chinny chin chin.”
As so often happens, Hu-Dad thinks he knows the story when he takes a photograph, but then he notices something that changes everything. In this case, a simple photograph of the two brothers watching wildlife wander past the study window morphed when a detail can into view.
Yes, Landon had a Siberian tumbleweed stuck to his lower jaw. It dangled and bounced and generally amused the Hu-Dad as he focused and took a number of pictures.

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.

One of the great frustrations of trying to manage a website is email. About 85-90% of all email is blocked long before it reaches your email account and is never delivered, not even to your spam folder. Unfortunately, sometimes that includes things you want.
You are subscribed and your newsletter is being sent. Unfortunately, that means it is being blocked by your email provider. You can check the spam folder to see if it is there. You can whitelist our email address ( info at TheThunderingHerd dot com ). Unfortunately, resubscribing does no good.
It is possible that someone else using your email host reported our email as spam. Doing so can sometimes block everyone else at that domain from getting the newsletter.
Just noticed something. You are the second complaint this morning and the other was also from the Yahoo / ATT email servers. Our Yahoo test account email delivered fine, but Yahoo may be screening our emails. Check your spam folder and whitelist our email address.
