Ground Disturbance

With the warm weather of the last few days, we have detected a ground disturbance in the yard that requires our attention.

What do I hear (and ignore the dripping water from my chin)?
What do I hear (and ignore the dripping water from my chin)?

In mid-slurp from the water bucket (which explains the water), Cheoah’s ears perked up. She knew she heard something of interest. But was she the only one?

Wait. What was that?
Wait. What was that?

After weeks of freezing temperatures, we have been celebrating a week of spring-like weather. Most of our snow has melted and the ground is thawing. Much to Hu-Dad’s chagrin, that means the underground critters like voles have started moving about which makes for some very interested Siberian Huskies.

I think winter is not over…those Voles better get ready for another nap!

Beautiful Cheoh, you help keep those evil Voles out of your yard! They will destroy the Herds’ territory. Although, if you start digging, Hu Dad might not be happy. Keep those Ears perked!
