Today is the Hu-Dad’s birthday (who knows which one because we can’t count that high) and Cheoah gave him a thoughtful present.
Is the Hu-Dad getting up from the couch?
Natasha is the only one of us who has been here from early puppy days, since the rest of us are all rescues. And that means that none of us canines, except for Natasha, have ever told Hu-Dad what are actual birthdates are.
Hu-Dad’s birthday, however, is today and he is several hundred years old. Wait, that’s in dog years. In human years, he is . . . Oh, we don’t know. Old. Old enough that he probably ought to be going for regular laser treatments just like Natasha and Cheoah.
For his birthday, I am going to keep his spot on the couch warm.
For his birthday, we thought we would run around like crazy, cause havoc, trip him, and ask to be let in and out about eleventy-seven bazillion times. You know, just like every other day of the year.
If I don’t fall asleep, I might even let him have his spot back. . . Too late.
So Happy Birthday, Hu-Dad.
Now, where’s our snack?

Happy Birthday, Hu-dad. Have a great day with husky fur flying through the air (and that’s when they are not moving), along with watching games of bitey-face, body slam. Oh, and Cheoah splashing in the water bucket.

Happy birthday Hu dad !!!! Hope you have a wonderful day full of wet dog kisses ! ( I was expecting a real surprise like the possum I found just the other day way too close to the house that I am so thankful no one thought it should be paw delivered directly to me. He didn’t have a chance against my husky and or GSD)
