Our morning walk came to a screeching halt yesterday when Typhoon came face to face with his nemesis in a hare-y showdown.
As we’ve mentioned many times, Typhoon has a thing for rabbits. Though he hasn’t caught one in several years, he remembers his speedy youth when many of the hare-brained creatures fell victim. So yesterday morning, when one herd met another, Typhoon and friend went into a stare-down. This scene lasted long enough for Hu-Dad to extract his phone and capture the moment just for you. No bunnies were harmed in the making of this story, much to Typhoon’s disappointment.

Hurricane Hugo Memories
September 21, 2024
Thirty-five years ago, a massive storm hammered our region and left a path of destruction, leaving us with Hurricane Hugo memories.
Silly bunnies, don’t they know Huskies think of them as a snack.
Sooo many choices. Which bunny to get first? Can I get both in one run? Will the leash part company with my collar .. puleeeeese? …. Very brave or foolish bunnies in that neighborhood.
Bunny 2 ready to run if Ty gets loose !!!
Hu-Dad-I can just SEE the HAIR(LOL) standing up on Typhoon’s back as the stare down happened-lol I know he was remembering the chases of his youth.
