Sorry for being late with today’s post, but wanted to assure you we are our normal crazy selves, despite Hu-Dad’s excuses.
Thanks for all your emails and messages asking if we were okay. High winds yesterday knocked out power for tens of thousands of homes in our area. We lost our power at 4:30 yesterday afternoon and just got it back this morning (Thank you, electric workers!). Hu-Dad kept tripping over us in the dark, but everything is normal here. Well, Siberian crazy normal. Happy Sunday!

Hurricane Hugo Memories
September 21, 2024
Thirty-five years ago, a massive storm hammered our region and left a path of destruction, leaving us with Hurricane Hugo memories.
I’m glad you all and the herd are all right! Were there more walks, since power to computers for busy work was unavailable? Or did you continue to jot thoughts with manual methods? Glad you’re OK.
When you are a Sibe the whole rest of the world is crazy!!!
Boom is winding up for a full speed ☄️!
Glad all is ok ! I always tell everyone if you have not heard from us most likely we tripped over one of the HokiePack and are laying in the floor waiting for help! Mine don’t understand Move !! ???♀️
Landon’s always focused on his mission. (Is a generator in your future?)
We had one on the house in Maggie, but the power went out there often. Here it seems so rare that we haven’t done it.
I was concerned as well. So many people in many states affected by this crazy weather. Wind, rain, tornadoes etc. Here in Delaware at least one person died during s tornado.
I am SO happy all is well with the HERD. I wonder Hu-Dad if you uttered some unmentionable words while tripping over a sibe???
So many unmentionable words – such as “Move.” Can you believe he said that?
