Stop And Smell The Roses

His Royal Highness Little Prince Typhoon Phooey sends a reminder as we enter the weekend—don’t forget to stop and smell the roses.

Even Typhoon is enamored with flowers - stop and smell the roses
Even Typhoon is enamored with flowers

When Hu-Dad snapped this photo, he thought of many potential stories. For example, he could question whether Typhoon or the rose was more prickly. But if even bad-to-the-bone Ty could stop and smell the roses, maybe that’s the better message. Or, perhaps, it’s what Hu-Dad said to Ty a second later: Just smell them. Don’t pee on them.

But Hu-Dad you have to smell before you per! Geez!!! You should know that by now!

He may have detected a previous pee incident and wanted to cancel it out. 😉

Oh Hu-Dad-you had me laughing so hard when I finished the last sentence about Typhoon Phooey not only smelling the roses BUT peeing on them too-LOL. Of course-stopping to smell the roses IS a nice thought!

Mud Freckles

January 10, 2009 |

Lots of snow, lots of rain, muddy roads, four-wheel drive, and an open jeep window.  This is when a dog should not hold their head out of the window, as demonstrated by Natasha and Kodiak as they show off their Mud Freckles.
