Shockingly, some people ask how we set up some of our photos, but as you can see from Roscoe, they are absolutely not staged.

Can you imagine? People ask us all the time how Hu-Dad gets us to sit still for some photos. For example, Roscoe here just wanted to sit beside the stone column on our new pavilion. He wasn’t being enticed with any sort of treat. No, not at all. This is absolutely not staged. He just happens to be staring at the sky and thinking what a great day it is.

A Shark Attacked My Best Friend
June 20, 2025 - In honor of the 50th anniversary of the theatrical debut of the movie Jaws, the film that was the inspiration for these events, D. K. Wall recorded the story in audio and video. The original story was posted on October 9, 2022.
A shark attacked my best friend when I was 11. His screams were awful. The silence that followed was worse. I was alone in the ocean.
Someone did a lovely job stacking those stones! Roscoe shows off the workmanship so well!
That’s a very regal pose Roscoe.
Oh youâre not fooling me, Hu-dad. Treats are the ONLY thing my fluffy-butt will focus on. I know that look. Ha! Have a great weekend!
Sometimes you just wish you could read their minds!! Handsome boy.
Yes-IF we could read their minds-wow!!! I look at my dogs and wonder too!
he is so beautiful, love your doggie pics
That is a rather focused gaze. Wonder if there was a bird to be seen … or maybe he was thinking of fuzzy tree rats.
