Roscoe had a very exciting day Friday when he unearthed loot, so now he’s pointing to buried treasure.
During yard time on Friday, Hu-Dad confiscated a filthy ball from Roscoe and wondered where it came from. A few minutes later, a second ball appeared in Roscoe’s mouth. A few more minutes and a third appeared. The people we bought the house from raised their five kids in it, so we’re always finding something interesting, but a baseball, tennis ball, and golf ball in one afternoon is a new record. Roscoe is so impressed with himself, he’s now pointing to buried treasure.

Hurricane Hugo Memories
September 21, 2024
Thirty-five years ago, a massive storm hammered our region and left a path of destruction, leaving us with Hurricane Hugo memories.
So as soon as Roscoe points to the buried treasure does Hu-Dad retrieve or do you let Roscoe dig it up and bring it to you before it gets confiscated????
Roscoe is young and fast. Hu-Dad is old and slow. Roscoe always unburies his treasure before Hu-Dad arrives on scene.
Typhoon points out Roscoe has one giant fault, one Typhoon does not share. Roscoe listens. When Hu-Dad demands the purloined item be turned over, Roscoe obediently complies. Typhoon doesn’t understand such behavior at all.
SCORE!!
Too funny!
I’ll bet he’s having a lot of fun finding them. Five kids should equal quite a few balls. Roscoe always looks so happy.
Go Roscoe! Sparky found a toy football buried in my apartment complex’s garden – who knows where it came from but it is now Sparky’s (after a good scrubbing).
I know I often write LOL to indicate how amusing or delightful I find something…
but this literally made me laugh out loud. thanks Hu Dad! xo
and… way to go Roscoe!
Oh boy-what a treasure trove in your yard Roscoe P and you are so great in finding the balls for you and your brothers to play with!!
Good job, Roscoe! It’s important for your brothers to know where to find more of those balls that were clearly left for all of you to enjoy.
