Princely Sunrise

When one is of a royal nature, a princely sunrise is the expected start to any day at Chez Herd By The Sea.

princely sunrise

It’s difficult to explain how much His Highness Little Prince Typhoon Phooey expects his world to work his preferred way—and how often he is disappointed. The rainy weather of the last several weeks has made the ground soggy causing discomfort for his feety-feet, but day after day of cloudy weather has also affected his grand entrance into the yard. He’s pleased to report that finally the sun, the clouds, and Hu-Dad have all worked together to capture an appropriate Princely Sunrise. We won’t say he is pleased—because he rarely is—but at least the royal mood is slightly less disgruntled.

I believe we have the female version of Royalty. Ms. Siniy is sweet but aloof. She avoids being bothered by a loving pet, unless she comes to you. Then it’s all hands on deck to please her highness. She’s our “grumble muffin”. She keeps her 2 younger brothers in line, while tending to her Squirrel count. I showed her the photo of your Prince. I have her permission to tell you she’s smitten. Phooey needs to keep posing handsomely!

I suspect HRH Prince Typhoon will not allow boots to be applied to the feety feet to keep them dry and prefers to yell at Hu-Dad to just fix it!! I’m glad you were FINALLY able to conjure a respectable sunrise. Carry on human!! ?

Boots would require the touching of feety-feet which is strictly forbidden. Screams would commence.

I understand a little more of his persona now that I know his background a bit better.
the Houdini of Dogdom! perhaps his inner Sibe picked up on the escape skills from his former room mate. the Little Prince remains a mystery though. and he is drop dead Gorgeous! always. but standing there at sunrise… oh my.

Oops. Nope. Landon (aka, Boom Boom) is the crate escaping master and former prison inmate. His bouncy, carefree attitude takes offense at nothing.

His Highness Little Prince Typhoon Phooey, on the other hand, would never think to work hard enough to escape a crate. He would just yell as loud as he could at the indignities until someone let him out.

OF COURSE we understand the ROYAL expectations of a sunrise Little Prince Typhoon Phooey and glad you at least got a little sunshine this morning. Having wet feety feet is NOT pleasant though! Have a nice day and enjoy whatever sunshine you can get!
