Town Crier Announcement

Our resident town crier has an exciting announcement (and his partner-in-crime appears decidedly uninterested in everything).

Roscoe: Official Town Crier and Typhoon: Official Curmudgeon
Roscoe: Official Town Crier
Typhoon: Official Curmudgeon

Roscoe is ultra excited to announce something very exciting—so excited that he is up as the sun is rising over the marsh. He can’t wait to tell you. And Typhoon can’t wait for all the hoopla to be over so he can go back to his grumpy self (as opposed to that big smile… oh, who are we kidding?).

How did I do? You forgot to tell them.
How did I do?
You forgot to tell them.

Today is the official release date of Hu-Dad’s second full-length novel, Jaxon with an X. You can read all about it at that link or just scroll to the bottom of the page and hit one of retailer buy links.

Yeah, we know this is blatant advertising, but it puts kibble in our bowl. Roscoe’s hungry. He says it’s breakfast time. Typhoon doesn’t care. Kind of normal around Chez Herd by the Sea.

Wow, I'm a good spokespup. Can we go back to bed now?

Congratulations Hu-Dad-I will be ordering the new book too. I so enjoyed the first book and gave it to my daughter to read. She is an aspiring writer. It’s great you have a Spokesdog(LOL) to advertise it too!

Congratulations on the new book! Are you interested in rescuing a 2 year old female husky that looks like Roscoe and Typhoon?

Thank you, but no. We have a long-term goal of being a smaller herd.

      • chris on July 21, 2020 at 11:13 am

Hopefully not smaller than 4 at one time. Very few people can do what you do for the dogs.

Excited to read after last book. Hopefully Doodle won’t decide to eat (I mean read) this one all over the living room floor ??‍♀️

      Thank you!

The one book we might have “assisted” with was about another family of delinquent Siberian Huskies. For some odd reason, Hu-Dad’s copy became “dog-eared.”

    Roscoe+Typhoon are hilarious together!
    They are polar opposites!!!

I started reading Jaxon with an X yesterday and I am almost finished. Hard to put down when you start reading.
