We Siberian Huskies take our roles as canines in Chez Herd By The Sea seriously. Mostly. Okay, fine, we are serious until we aren’t.
Go ahead and laugh, but we canines have a quite serious role to play here at Chez Herd by the Sea. We keep pesky squirrels and feral cats out of our yard. We keep couches from floating through space thanks to our dedicated napping techniques. We focus on spreading a light layer of fur throughout the house. We make sure the humans are properly exercised by taking them on walks twice a day. These are tough jobs.
Despite these weighty responsibilities, we do squeeze in a little time for some fun. Yes, that’s the working breed life for you – serious until we aren’t.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
I am very glad the dogs take their jobs seriously! I really love that they make sure the humans are exercised well and keeping the pests out of the newly fenced yard. I really love the last picture! Have a wonderful weekend all!
