After talking about it yesterday, we have another example of the Landon Attention Deficit Syndrome (and we celebrate our 4,000th post).
Just yesterday we shared a story about Landon being distracted during his business by a vocal owl. And then we walked out into the yard for our mid-afternoon flower watering task and Landon was too focused on the crew working on our upper deck to accomplish his task.
But Landon gets the last laugh. Hu-Dad would like to celebrate our 4000th post…which we made last Friday. Yep, that’s right, the Hu-Dad has been so busy that he totally forgot to mention that we have now posted over 4,000 snippets of our lives on this blog. Yes, we have been sharing our stories here on TheThunderingHerd.com for over a decade and on other vehicles prior to that. Kind of hard to believe we have had that much to say.
So Happy post # 4002. Boy, that doesn’t have the same ring as # 4,000. We will try to do better in 998 posts from now.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Every single day is started with your blog. Thank you for sharing your lives with us

Happy 4002 posts and a happy 4002 more!! Thank you for sharing and bringing joy to us each day. Your daily posts with the herd starts the day or ends a day with a smile. Sometimes I view it twice to take a moment to just be in the moment with you and the herd. My ADD medication! LOL!
Congratulations! That’s a lot of posts! All of them interesting, funny and sometimes sad. I get you Landon…My kids and all have ADD. It’s a verse and a blessing. And, may I mention a sign of intelligence. Our brains work too fast…so keep an eye out Landon. You’ll never miss a thing!????♥️
Congratulations!!! I only happened to discover you a few years ago, when my son adopted my Husky granddaughter. I look forward to your posts each morning and enjoy your essays, as well. ????

Whoa Hu-Dad 4000 posts-who knew? I don’t know where I was and didn’t see your posts until probably a few years ago. I LOVE them. The herd’s pictures are always great and you always know how to bring a smile or laugh to our faces with all of them. It looks like Landon is REALLY enjoying seeing all of the construction and Typhoon talking to him about it!!
