Several have asked about the annual dig under the picnic table (which Hu-Dad fills in every fall), so here is our slow basement renovations update.
The annual excavation project under the picnic table has started, but things are moving slower than years past. We decided to investigate the reasons when we spotted our project manager in position for the big dig. Ready to see the dirt fly?
No, wait, Cheoah, breakfast has already been served. Hu-Dad just brought the camera out to get photos of this year’s project. You can return to work and show him how it’s done.

Hurricane Hugo Memories
September 21, 2024
Thirty-five years ago, a massive storm hammered our region and left a path of destruction, leaving us with Hurricane Hugo memories.
Mom ‘n Ebby say: Well, as the “Matriarch” of the Herd, guess she can put the excavation project “on hold” for long enough to grab a wee nap, to get ready for the next stage. Gotta conserve her strength to oversee what the “Siberguys” do with what she’s started.
LOL! that’s my girl! xoxo
She looked pretty pleased with herself. What a cutie!
Our hu-dad says that’s Hazels kind of supervising too. Check the status, check the food bowl and after all that hardddddd work, it’s nap time.
Off to check the yard, Koda!
Eat, dig and rest. You are really enjoying spring.
I have to admit, Cheoah… that couch sure does look mighty comfy ????
Miss Cheoah-tell Hu-Dad you did enough renovations for today and the couch looked SO comfy!!! I have to say-she has been so happy with those smiles in her pictures. I guess she likes the nicer weather!
