Hu-Dad was trying to check a few things that had come in overnight to his computer, but received a friendly Boom Boom reminder about breakfast.
Around Chez Herd, no real difference exists between a weekday morning and a weekend morning, so Hu-Dad was up before sunrise Sunday morning and let us outside. He checked his computer for any overnight messages, but took a little longer than allowed.
As he was clearing the overnight buildup, Landon wandered into the office to check on the reason breakfast was coming as quickly as expected. No rush or anything, just checking.
The reminder was friendly and persuasive, but a little urgency was suggested ever so subtly.
Movie Memory Monday
Speaking of insatiable hunger, this week’s Movie Memory Monday take us back to a time when Rusty wondered why everyone else had a bully stick to chew on and he didn’t. The fact that he had one and had finished it quicker than everyone else was irrelevant and all he wanted to know was, “Who Has My Bully Stick?”

Hurricane Helene was a monster storm, but the way it hit Western North Carolina couldn’t have been much worse.

Boom Boom is a member of the “Talk to the Paw Club” Be thankful he is not a Siscilian Husky who is a member of the “Black Paw” family(Think the DogFather”) Quick update Thor the piebald is staying put here and is heartworm negative now! Who Ray!!!!
Now I know why you called him the Rooster. 🙂 What a character! I never realized that Kodiak looks just like my Brut. Very cool!

AAWW Hu-Dad-can’t you see Boom-Boom is STARVING??? Love that face while he asks when the breakfast will be served-I couldn’t resist him! Movie Monday was before I caught on to the awesome Chez Herd and love watching the “Crowing” over the bully stick!
