Frankie Suave Stalking Rabbits

A quiet spring evening with lots of clear skies, gentle breezes, warm temperatures…and bunnies! That gives us Frankie Suave stalking rabbits.

Frankie Suave stalking rabbits.

As our weather is stumbling into spring, the rabbits have returned to our lower field in a veritable bunny explosion. For the most part they have stayed outside the perimeter fence, much to the disappointment of our Chief Rabbit Hunter, Typhoon, who has not scored a rabbit in quite a while. But that lack of success does not stop us from stalking and hoping, even Mr. Suave himself.

Landon looks on in awe as his big brother slinks toward the fence.

Another evening goes by with the rabbits outside the fence and safe from our canine predators, though they still have to contend with the coyotes, bobcats, and big birds of prey. But Frankie came back empty-handed. Or is that empty-pawed?

Next time. I will get one next time.

Better luck next time Frankie and maybe Typhoon too. I do feel sorry for the bunnies BUT it’s the law of nature as they say. The slinking across the yard is something to see Frankie boy!
