Snow Brothers

We shared in the brutal cold temperatures and near-hurricane force winds so many others are having, but that didn’t stop the snow brothers.

In the continuing bromance of Roscoe and Typhoon, they spent a good bit of yesterday outside. The brutal cold temperatures didn’t bother them nor did the fierce winds racing over the mountain ridges.

They even had a lengthy game of keep away. A prized possession was claimed by one brother which caused the other brother to take off in mad pursuit. Once the prize changed hands (paws?), the chase reversed itself. Hu-Dad feels it is important to mention that the prized possession was a chunk of ice, something that could be found everywhere, but this chunk of ice was special. Humans just don’t understand.

Only one thing could possibly interfere with the winter games. And, yes, Hu-Dad finally played that card.

I heard the dinner bell.

Typhoon and Roscoe are so cute together. (I think huskies like temps in the 20s. Juno spends all day outside in the winter.)

Each time I read a story about Typhoon and Roscoe it just makes my heart fill with joy. They are truly bonded brothers who although they fought over a piece of ice-it’s what brothers do! Since we too are having especially cold weather where I live in Delaware I am SO happy Roscoe has found his forever home. Good job Hu-Dad for ringing the dinner bell!!! FLY like the wind boys to go get your supper.
