All Hu-Dad has to do every day is get a few photographs of us, but apparently those come out better if we are facing the camera.

Hu-Dad says we are not always the most cooperative models. For example, he wanted a few photographs of Roscoe playing in the yard, but whenever he pressed the shutter button, Roscoe would turn his head. The result is lots and lots of photos like these.

In fact, of the dozens of photos that Hu-Dad took of Roscoe, just one had him look straight at the camera.

A Shark Attacked My Best Friend
June 20, 2025 - In honor of the 50th anniversary of the theatrical debut of the movie Jaws, the film that was the inspiration for these events, D. K. Wall recorded the story in audio and video. The original story was posted on October 9, 2022.
A shark attacked my best friend when I was 11. His screams were awful. The silence that followed was worse. I was alone in the ocean.
That is a nice picture! Roscoe looks so sweet (and so curious!). Huskies do seem to know the exact moment when the camera is going to “click”…they make us crazy!
I bet they are all enjoying the cold temperatures!!! ⛄⛄⛄
He wants you to get his good side!
Roscoe has such a smooth coat. (I’ve always wonder how many shots you take every day to get the few you want.)
Some days, only a few are needed. The moments are easy and clear. But, other days, it takes a bit.
You have such a beautiful face Roscoe!!!
Don’t feel bad Hu-Dad-I think it’s a husky thing. Every time I TRY and get a good picture of our boy Bradley-YEP-just like Roscoe-he turns his head-lol Maybe they are camera shy???
