Tricky Mother Nature Fooled Us Again

After yesterday’s non-walk because of Florence, we were excited to stretch our legs, though tricky Mother Nature fooled us again.

Hey, Hu-Dad, it sure got dark once we started walking.

Hey, Hu-Dad, it sure got dark once we started walking.

The rain fell off and on throughout Monday, but our hope for a walk grew as the evening seemed to hint of a nice break. Seeing a hint of blue sky behind the clouds, Hu-Dad hooked us up and we took off. It might have had something to do with Landon’s endless energy. Or his squeakiness when he wants something.

Some pup looks happy with himself.

Just one slight technical problem in our stroll. Mother Nature decided to unleash a real soaker on us. And, of course, it started at the half-way point in our walk, so we had no choice but to get wet. Very wet.

Looking for rabbits, even in this rain.

The collies agree, rain and getting wet, is no fun! Today is going to be a non-fun day, Florence’s precipitation is suppose to drench us all day.
