Sunshine Celebration At Chez Herd

Saturday wasn’t exactly a sunny day, but compared to the rest of our week, we declared a sunshine celebration here at Chez Herd.

Boom Boom is surprised to discover that water did not fall from the sky all day.

Boom Boom is surprised to discover that water did not fall from the sky all day.

We woke Saturday morning to a strange spectacle – a sunrise. Yes, after a week of clouds, thunder, and lots of rain, we had actual sunbeams streaking from the horizon and brightening our skies. Oh, sure, the clouds kept coming in waves and we had a little rain, but it was still the driest day in ages. And that calls for a celebration.

A sunshine celebration to be exact.

We had lots of outdoor games to go with our muddy paws and dirty coats. And Hu-Dad might be cleaning muddy paw prints from our wood floors for a long time. But it was fun!

Wishing you many breaks in the clouds. (Looks like an early fall.) And muddy husky feet… oh my, and possibly up to 24 of them. ;-D

Yay Boom-Boom! It looks like you and the pack had a VERY good time in the mud and grass(although Hu-Dad will be cleaning it up for quite a while). SO happy you had some sunshine yesterday.
