Brief Moment Of Sunshine At Chez Herd

The rains stopped for a while and we have a brief moment of sunshine here at Chez Herd. We all raced outside to enjoy the precious time.

What is that bright light in the sky?

What is that bright light in the sky?

Another inch of rain fell during the day on Friday, but the clouds parted in the evening for some respite from the soggy weather. The next few days should only bring thunderstorms and not the steady rain of this week.

Landon appears a little wary of the brief moment of sunshine.

Ever helpful Typhoon was the first to point out to the Hu-Dad that all of this rain means that Chez Herd’s grasses have grown a little tall.

I could get lost out here, Hu-Dad.

4 of 6 love it (Cheoah, Frankie, Qannik and Landon)
1 of 6 is fine until we hit a tangle (Kiska)

And Typhoon screams like he is being abused.

I so wish the sunshine would hang out for a while for the herd BUT getting around in the tall grass is hard-as pointed out to Hu-Dad by Typhoon-lol. He cannot cut the grass until it dries more sweet boy!!!
