Yesterday was another hard work day at Chez Herd though you might be challenged to figure that out by watching Cheesewhiz.
As a working breed, we Siberian Huskies understand and appreciate work. Just yesterday, we watched the Hu-Dad work in his study all morning. In the afternoon, he fired up the tractor and mowed our field. And then, yesterday evening, he stacked firewood in our bins so we would be prepared for the winter. And winter we really understand.
By the way, you probably noticed that Cheesewhiz was resting in the shade of our Tree of Life and wondered why she wasn’t in her basement. Don’t worry. She was just pacing herself.

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
I just love her expression.
I know how tiring it must be to watch the hu-dad work so hard Cheoah! Just exhausting! A fluffy red Sibe must rest after such drudgery!
Oh boy Cheezewhiz(Cheoah)-what a HARD life-watching Hu-Dad work so hard mowing so Chez Herd has a nice field to run in and get the wood ready for winter!! I guess you said “It’s off to the basement I go”!!!!
