In our never ending cycle of rain, Frankie has discovered that the big bed – aka, the human bed – makes a great hiding spot from thunderstorms.
Based on current predictions, we should get a break from all of this rain this coming Saturday. Yep, Saturday. The rain is predicted to get harder over the next several days as Alberto passes to our west and dumps tons of water on our mountains. We are all tired of the rain, but no one as much as Frankie.
Yesterday afternoon, during a somewhat mild thunderstorm, Hu-Dad went looking for Frankie and discovered him in the human bed. He had unmade the bed, fluffed the blankets, and built himself a thunder-proof nest.
Movie Memory Monday
Rain is not the only evil thing that has invaded Chez Herd. Do you remember the Evil Squeaky Pig? Enjoy this week’s Movie Monday when your volume turned up. Ok, maybe not if you don’t want your co-workers to know what you are doing.
