Our quiet Thursday was interrupted by a very dark enemy – the evil squeaky pig. We even have video proof of his diabolical nature.
The 11th Annual Downtown Dog Walk kicks off this Saturday at 10 a.m. benefitting Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation. Most of our readers know that we have been a long-time supporter of this terrific animal rescue including as a sponsor of the annual Dog Walk. (If you live within driving distance, please come join us Saturday morning for the fun.)
Yesterday, we picked up our goody bag and inspected the prizes that every walking dog will receive. Included in our bag was a demonic toy.
Oh, sure, he might look all cute, but you should hear him. In fact, you can hear him. Our Film Friday is something of a horror flick this week, but we will protect you.
Oh, as a bonus, you get a small glimpse of our video editing process. Why? Well, we decided to help the Hu-Dad because of a certain squeaking.

Eddie is circling the laptop, doing the head-tilt, peeking underneath, etc. in an attempt to find the squeaky-toy (he doesn’t get those at home, since they drives this puppy-mom nuts!)
My family laughed at me because I had hoped to be at Sarge’s walk this year to meet the herd. They told me that I was planning our vacation around dogs. Lol. I have a friend who lives in Asheville I have been wanting to visit. It seemed like a good stop. Surgery was postponed though. Maybe next year. I want to meet the current herd.
I think this is my favourite video of all time! (And thank you for writing “August 6″, not August 6th” in the credit. One of my pet peeves (I have quite a few, but they don’t eat much and never ask to be let out, let in, let out).
Bruce loves his squeaky toys. He was looking at me while I watching this. I love that he truly enjoys his squeaky toys and you can see it on his face, but that boy will squeak like crazy and then you just wish he will break it. My husband got him a new one a couple of weeks ago and it actually still works. Needless to I have to put it up for now. I need a break from its squeakiness lol. Have a wonderful weekend and hugs and kisses to the herd.
