Are We Having Spring-Winter or Winter-Spring?

April is a great month of change as Mother Nature guides us between seasons – and gives us lots of days of spring-winter or winter-spring.

Late last week, we were having sunny days with highs in the mid-to-upper 60’s. Sunday, we had two inches of driving rain. And, Monday, the temperature struggled to break freezing and snow fell all day.

As Hu-Dad prepares this post, our temperature is 22ºF (-6ºC), snow is falling, and we have a roaring fire in the fireplace. But, don’t worry, Wednesday is supposed to be sunny with a high in the mid-60’s again.

Which leads us all to wonder if it is Spring, Winter, Spring-Winter, or Winter-Spring.

  1. It’s nuts everywhere. Several inches of snow one day, hot the next, in Colo. And the east coast can’t catch a break. Our dogs just roll with it.
