How Do You Find Dry Weather Mud?

Rains are coming for the rest of the weekend, but yesterday was warm and dry. How did Cheesewhiz create some dry weather mud?

How did I get all of this dry weather mud on my legs?

How did I get all of this dry weather mud on my legs?

Hu-Dad was working in the field just outside Sibe Quentin all day on Saturday, so he knows it was dry and warm. But when he finally shut the tractor down and headed to the house, he noticed that Cheoah still found a way to get muddy. How did she do this?

Yes, these legs.

Yes, these legs.

Those who have followed us for a long time know that Cheoah’s favorite way to cool off on a warm day is to immerse herself in the water bucket. Oh, sure, the boys gripe that her dirty feet have been in their drinking water, but she never has worried much what the boys think. Once she has her fur sufficiently soaked, she heads down to the digging area under the picnic table and excavates her basement.

Cheoah - The innocent look doesn't work so well when you have mud on your face, and upper lip, and nose.

Can’t remember if you’ve ever put out a baby pool for your waders. We tried it once and it didn’t get any interest, unlike a lake shore with nice gooey mud.
