Our first snow of the season finally fell – a serious amount of snow – which created a lot of serious fun around Chez Herd.
For most of the week, weather forecasters said that we might see a dusting of snow on Friday and Saturday. Maybe even a half an inch. On Thursday, however, they started suggesting we might have 1 – 3 inches of snow, maybe even 4. Through the end of the day Saturday. We thought that would be a lot of fun.
By late Friday afternoon, we already had 9 inches of snow and it was still falling steadily, so we will be well over a foot by sunrise Saturday morning.
Now, we know what you are thinking. You haven’t seen any smiles yet. You want some smiles. You want pure, ecstatic joy plastered on our faces. Right? Ok, fine.
