Hu-dad needs to be reminded periodically that his entertainment value is his greatest asset – no matter what other work he accomplishes.
Our firewood for the coming winter was delivered yesterday morning, all of which needed to be stacked in the firewood bins. We go through a good bit of firewood keeping things warm in the house.
Hu-Dad went to work getting the firewood moved into the bins, but that meant he left us to our own devices out in the back yard. Not just for a little bit, but all afternoon. He didn’t come back inside until this happened.
Now Hu-Dad was quite proud of himself for getting that work done, but we seemed to be a little miffed. After all, we had not been properly entertained all day long. Can you imagine?

The mere thought of you poor Sibes having to fend for yourselves is just unacceptable ????
