Hu-dad needs to be reminded periodically that his entertainment value is his greatest asset – no matter what other work he accomplishes.
Our firewood for the coming winter was delivered yesterday morning, all of which needed to be stacked in the firewood bins. We go through a good bit of firewood keeping things warm in the house.
Hu-Dad went to work getting the firewood moved into the bins, but that meant he left us to our own devices out in the back yard. Not just for a little bit, but all afternoon. He didn’t come back inside until this happened.
Now Hu-Dad was quite proud of himself for getting that work done, but we seemed to be a little miffed. After all, we had not been properly entertained all day long. Can you imagine?

Wings of Doom
December 12, 2024
A simple nightly routine with my dogs led me to face the wings of doom, a hideous creature that lurks in the shadows of my yard.
Intolerable. He could have been doing that busy work at a time when you all did not require entertainment….like when you’re sleeping! Isn’t like humans have to sleep right herd?!?! At least that’s what I’m told repeatedly by Leena at 2-5am in the morning.
The mere thought of you poor Sibes having to fend for yourselves is just unacceptable ????
