Harvey’s visit to us here at Chez Herd is merely a few days of rain, unlike all of our friends who have really suffered from the impact of the hurricane. We are thinking of everyone who has been impacted by this terrible storm. We wish you the speediest of recovery and will be thinking of you in the weeks and months to come.
Fortunately, Harvey will just bring us 2-3 inches of rain, a fairly normal summer storm system crossing our mountains. As we approach our dry fall months, and the fire season that brings with it, we are thankful to receive a good soaking.
For canines, however, this is a couple of days of boredom. As the rain fell from the sky, Hu-Dad could hear some deep sighs. We hope today’s Film Friday captures that feeling – and hope you appreciate the couple of rebels who decided to ignore the rain and have fun anyway.
