Chief of Security Leads Storm Preparation

After a week of quiet, cool weather, our Chief of Security leads our storm preparation as we anticipate some heavy winds and rain.

Storm clouds gather.

Storm clouds gather.

Our first week of August provided us with unseasonably cool, pleasant and dry weather. Our high temperatures barely reached 70ºF each day and Hu-Dad was even sleeping under a quilt at night. Well, he would have been sleeping under a quilt but Frankie kept stealing it and building a nest.

Stronger weather will be rumbling for the next day or so with a couple of inches of rain. Nothing particularly strong for this area, but certainly different than last week. Not to worry though because our Chief of Security was busy patrolling the grounds to make sure everyone was ready for the change.

Looking good, everyone.

Looking good, everyone.

We are expecting a rainstorm here too. It’s gray and overcast, but I’m grateful that the weekend was beautiful and the stormy weather waited for Monday.
