Our winter has certainly lacked snow, but we have been told we have two storms in the next few days, so we are all waiting for March snowy weather.
The first system is to arrive late this afternoon and deliver 4-6 inches of snow. A second system is arriving Tuesday and is to give us a couple of more inches. We are looking forward to some snow games, though Hu-Dad will be in serious trouble if the snow doesn’t happen.
The whole region is still suffering from drought and any precipitation is welcome. Our cousins over at The Herd Annex had a wildfire right above their house just a few days ago, though our superb firefighters got it under control and monitored it through the night until it was extinguished. A good snow and a slow melt would be a terrific dent into our drought (and hopefully more comes, too).
And, yes, we will have snow pictures . . . assuming it happens.

Our Hu-Dad (G-Pa) has been telling Chloe Bear and I (Randi) that we might get some too down here at Owens’ Kennel. I (Randi the Rat Terrier mix) don’t like the cold…but Chloe Bear (the Beagle mix) loves the snow…
Wishing you lots of moisture. I’m sure the fire was scary.
Oh boy!!! I’ve got my paws crossed that your March snow storm is a real doozy!!!!
