Q-Tip’s Digestive Challenge

While the rest of The Herd is enjoying the cold weather, Qannik is dealing with a digestive challenge and an unplanned vet visit.

Sometimes you just feel blech with a digestive challenge

Sometimes you just feel blech.

As we mentioned a couple of weeks ago, Q has been challenged with losing a few pounds. He decided to speed that along by being unable to keep down food. As a reward, Hu-Dad and Q got to take an unplanned trip to our vet to check everything out.

Thankfully, x-rays didn’t show any blockage. We have been through that before with Queen Natasha and the Infamous Mighty Acorn Incident. Other tests just showed an upset digestive system, so we are focused on treating those issues.

Q will be taking some medicine for the next few days to deal with an upset stomach. On a brighter note (for him), he will also be on a special diet of small meals several times a day as we help his system return to normal.

I can perk up for extra meals.

Poor Q. Hope the tummy issues resolve quickly. Not good for a perpetually hungry pup.
