Every now and then, we let the Hu-Dad head across the valley to visit with the Hu-Grandmom. That means our cousins are hanging with the Hu-Dad.
Ruby gives the Hu-Dad an A+ for ear scratching.
Just like we are all distinct personalities, our cousins are different, too. Ruby very much wants to be in the middle of the action, especially if ear scratches are involved. She is usually no more than a few feet from the action.
Tartok, however, much prefers the lone wolf approach, drifting in and out of people for attention, and then moving away to watch the action. Don’t worry, though, he gets plenty of ear scratches.
Tartok prefers drive by ear scratches followed by aloof time.

Good Morning Herd. Koda here! Oh and my little sister Hazel. So I have a question, do you ever have Ruby and Tartok over to your house?
See I’m asking because my human sister and her husband to be had to do some of that wedding stuff alllllllll day yesterday, so their pups, me and Hazels cousins, came over Friday nights and spent the night.
Mommy kept saying oh my acting head and something about the house is too small for 4 rambunctious hounds. I still don’t know what she was talking about because I’m a Sibe, Luna is a Shephard Pit mix, Copper is a Chihuahua and so the only Hound as in fox and coon mix is Hazel. You know what I mean when I say crazy humans. BOLBOL!
Well have a good fall day. Here in Virginia Beach it is only 51 this morning and again I had to remind my human mother IM A SIBE stop calling me to come in 51 degrees is wonderful not chilly. And I still don’t get Hazels need to snuggle in bed under the blankets with human dad when there’s all that glorious chilliness.

Long, long ago, Tartok had a slumber party at the Hu-Dad’s (Hu-Grandmom was out of town). Tartok and Kodiak were like two teenage boys on an overnight, wrestling and playing until dawn, much to the detriment of Hu-Dad’s sleep.
