Venturing Into The Foggy Weather

While our friends to the east were dealing with Hermine, we enjoyed a cool, rainy day. And that meant venturing into the foggy weather.

What a dreary foggy weather day.

What a dreary day.

We do feel for all of our friends to the south and east of us who were dealing with Hermine. Our high temperature of the day was 61ÂșF (16ÂșC), but that happened well before sunrise. The rest of the day featured temperatures in the 50’s, a drizzly rain, and waves of fog. In other words, glorious Siberian Husky weather compared to the last few weeks.

Time to get sit in the rain.

Time to get sit in the rain.

We would much prefer snow and freezing temperatures, but that is two months away still. Making the best of things, Qannik said this was perfect weather for a cotton ball to sit in the rain and soak up all of the water. He came in the house at one point, stood still for a moment, and turned back around to the outside. In those few seconds, however, he left a giant puddle for the Hu-Dad to mop.

Looks like the weather affect the Heard’s hair just like it does mine!
