Can You Be Serious?

Every day, Hu-Dad grabs his trusty camera and snaps a few photos of us. Typhoon was his target yesterday which led to the question, “Can you be serious?” Oh, sure, you can probably already guess the answer to the question, but it was the way the question was answered that made Hu-Dad laugh.

Isn't this face serious?

Isn’t this face serious?

Some days, we hand Hu-Dad a blog post on a silver platter. For example, locking Hu-Dad out of the house. Or, connecting a right hook to his face. But other times, we make him work really hard for some good material. Unfortunately, yesterday was one of those we made him work. So Hu-Dad grabbed his camera, sat down on the deck, and asked Typhoon to “do something interesting.” For the record, that can be a very dangerous request.

I can zig and I can zag.

I can zig and I can zag.

Of the photographs Hu-Dad took, virtually none of them were in focus. Or had the subject centered. Or, frankly, even had the subject fully in the frame. Yes, we have lots of photos of Typhoon’s nose or ear or legs. So, Hu-Dad looked at Typhoon and asked, “Can you be serious?” And this was the response.

Did you know I can do this? Can you be serious

Did you know I can do this?

Dear readers, we think we have the answer to Hu-Dad’s question.
